I will give some points that can help anybody to learn english:

you must try to speak in english to anybody even if your language is not perfect
don't use any translation site to learn the language you can use it only to be sure about the meaning or the spelling for any word, because some times the word is same and the meaning is different
try to write and ask someone to check with you

there are more than one way to learn english i can't write it all, but of course i will help you any time you need

I would like to suggest to practice English through watching movies, discussing daily topics with friends in English, and reading books loudly.

I love the idea of reading books loudly and recording myself to see how I sound such as is my accent clear. If I feel I said a word wrong that is not understood well or clear then I will check it in Youtube…

For example: See in youtube Psychology pronunciation

You can play the video and practice how to say difficult words.

I support those who said you have to read loudly, watch movies with out translation and so on.
this is how i improved mine.

I took the TOEFL exam as well to support it with certificates.

good evening everybody her ... I think watching movies with English subtitles will helps ... I think you can find a lot of such movies online and you can practice new words ... also youtube has a lot of scripted channels with English subtitles

i am no that great in English nor good but i would like to improve it ... hope that i can take the IELS test one day like all people .... i sometimes feels that i am the only person still not taking it !

my speech is also not that great ... my words are basic and my spelling is a disaster for sure......

I agree about English with subtitles but what I have noticed is that they do not translate everything accurately.

I would like to suggest to try practice with subtitles then try depending on hearing only rather than reading translation.

About spelling disaster, I would like to suggest to use word document and spell checking. It really helps a lot when I am writing email for work or college to make sure it is error free.

Even nowadays iphone have features when chatting it will show right spelling .

I would like to suggest to try practice with subtitles then try depending on hearing only rather than reading translation.

About spelling disaster, I would like to suggest to use word document and spell checking. It really helps a lot when I am writing email for work or college to make sure it is error free.

thanks ... but I meant by subtitles that some movies if you searched the internet .... has (English script ) may be script is the right word ... some learner even native speakers don't know what has been said or they missed a word ... so using the script(written conversation) .. you can follow the conversation ... and write the words in English then search them using dictionary or the internet ......

for the spell yes .. their is correction tools ...... but I wish if I can write by my own a correct spelling .... I think it need time and study.....

yep , but I think I need to follow rules ... like In Arabic you need to learn how to right Hamza by knowing some rules .... it will take time ... but every thing come slowly stay long .. looool

I wrote a comment but has been erased technically .... reading in English is important .. you know if your English is average you can read faster than reading Arabic books because English is easier than Arabic ...

and her in uae a lot of nationalities speaks English to communicate... means English is a second language after Arabic ... so it easy to find someone to talke with even native English speaker

but you know English is not a special thing nowadays ... everyone is speaking English .... even people who are housemaid or taxi driver or people who works in grocery .... everyone has some English in his blood but it depends ... some can improve it some no

you know, I wish that I can speak English in away that I know hard word and long words

this needs a lot of work ....

I think going to school is an easy way! hhhhhhhhhhh
